What we collect
Arsenal stores your firearm and ammunition inventory data locally on your device. If you use the Squad social features, we collect your email address and display name via Supabase for authentication. Your public squad stats (readiness score, weapon count, round count, achievement count) are stored on Supabase servers to power the leaderboard.
What we never share
Your specific firearm details — serial numbers, calibers, purchase prices, photos, and service records — are stored only on your device and optional Google Drive. They are never transmitted to our servers or shared with any third party.
Google Drive sync
If you enable Google Drive sync, your encrypted inventory data is stored in your personal Google Drive account. Arsenal accesses only the single file it creates (arsenal_data.json). We do not access any other Google Drive content.
Squad / Social features
Squad features require account creation via Supabase. Your email is used only for authentication. Messages and activity feed posts are visible to other Squad members. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Squad → YOU tab.
Data retention
Local inventory data is retained until you clear it or uninstall the app. Squad account data is retained until you delete your account. Google Drive data is retained in your own Google account.
Children
Arsenal is rated 17+ and is not intended for users under 17 years of age.

By accessing, installing, or using Arsenal ("the App"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of Arsenal ("Developer"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease all use of the App. Your continued use of the App following any modification to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
Arsenal is a personal firearm and ammunition inventory management application designed to assist individual users in organizing their personal property records. The App operates primarily on your local device and does not transmit your personal inventory data to Developer servers.
Arsenal is a personal organizational tool only. It is expressly not: legal advice or a legal compliance system; a substitute for any federally, state, or locally mandated recordkeeping; an ATF-compliant bound book or Form 4473 replacement; a firearms dealer management system; a law enforcement or regulatory tool; or a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App. By using Arsenal, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and are not prohibited by federal, state, or local law from owning, possessing, or purchasing firearms. Use of this App by any person prohibited from firearm ownership under 18 U.S.C. § 922 or any applicable state law is strictly prohibited.
4.1 User Responsibility. You are solely and exclusively responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing firearm ownership, possession, acquisition, transfer, storage, and recordkeeping. This includes but is not limited to the National Firearms Act (NFA), the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA), all applicable state and local ordinances, and any regulations promulgated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
4.2 Not an ATF Compliance Tool. Arsenal's Acquisition and Disposition (A&D) feature is provided as an organizational convenience only. It is expressly not a substitute for the official ATF-required bound book maintained by Federal Firearms Licensees (FFL). Any records generated by Arsenal have no official legal standing and should not be relied upon as the sole or primary record for any compliance, regulatory, legal, or law enforcement purpose.
4.3 FFL Holders. If you hold a Federal Firearms License of any type, you remain solely responsible for maintaining all records required by the ATF in the format and manner prescribed by federal regulation. Arsenal does not satisfy any FFL recordkeeping requirement. You must maintain your official bound book independently of and in addition to any records kept in Arsenal.
4.4 NFA Items. If you use Arsenal to track NFA-regulated items including suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, machine guns, or destructive devices, you are solely responsible for ensuring all applicable tax stamps, transfer approvals, and registration requirements are current and properly maintained. Arsenal provides no notification, reminder, or verification of NFA compliance status.
4.5 Interstate and International Transfer. Arsenal does not provide legal guidance on interstate or international firearm transfers. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding the movement of firearms across state or international borders. The App is intended for use within the United States only.
4.6 No Legal Advice. Nothing in Arsenal, its features, its generated reports, its Intel Report analysis, or these Terms constitutes legal advice. Developer is not a licensed attorney. For legal questions regarding firearm ownership, compliance, or transfer, consult a licensed attorney with expertise in firearms law.
5.1 Arsenal relies entirely on data entered by the user. Developer makes no warranty that any information displayed, calculated, or reported by the App is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any purpose. All valuations, readiness scores, analysis cards, service recommendations, and Intel Report outputs are estimates only — not professional appraisals, financial advice, or compliance determinations.
5.2 Collection Value. Any value estimates are based solely on prices you enter manually. Do not rely on Arsenal's value calculations for insurance, estate planning, tax purposes, or any financial decision without independent professional verification.
5.3 Service Reminders. Service reminder dates are based entirely on data you enter and are not professional gunsmithing recommendations. You are solely responsible for the safe maintenance and operation of all firearms in your possession.
5.4 Ammunition Data. Ammunition compatibility suggestions are based on user-entered data and simplified matching rules. Always verify firearm and ammunition compatibility independently before use. Incorrect ammunition can cause serious injury, death, or property damage. Developer accepts no liability for injury, death, or damage resulting from ammunition use.
5.5 Barcode and UPC Data. The UPC database is provided for convenience only. Developer does not warrant that any UPC entry is accurate or complete. Always verify product details independently before purchase or use.
6.1 Your inventory data is stored in your device's local browser storage. Developer does not have access to this data and is not responsible for data loss due to browser settings, device failure, or any other cause. Export CSV backups regularly.
6.2 Google Drive Sync. If enabled, your data is transmitted to and stored in your personal Google account under Google's Terms of Service. Developer has no access to your Google Drive data and is not responsible for any loss or breach within Google's systems.
6.3 Squad Features. If you create a Squad account, limited data (display name, readiness score, weapon count, total rounds fired, achievement count) is stored on Supabase servers. Serial numbers, purchase prices, and photos are never transmitted. You are responsible for all content you post in Squad chat.
6.4 Developer does not monitor, review, or moderate Squad user-generated content. Developer reserves the right to remove content and terminate accounts at its sole discretion. Do not use Squad features to solicit, advertise, or facilitate any firearm transaction.
The App incorporates open-source and third-party components including ZXing (barcode scanning), Supabase (social features), and Google Identity Services (sync). Your use of these components is subject to their respective terms and licenses. Developer is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service. The App is a web-based application and may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use following an update constitutes acceptance of the updated App and any revised Terms.
You agree not to use Arsenal to record or facilitate any illegal firearm transaction; track firearms you do not legally own or possess; circumvent any firearms law or regulation; facilitate straw purchases, illegal transfers, or trafficking; store data belonging to other individuals without consent; reverse engineer or extract proprietary code from the App; or use the App in any manner that could damage or impair the App or its servers.
Arsenal is licensed to you personally and non-exclusively. You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or commercially exploit the App or your access to it. The App's interface, design, branding, and visual elements are the intellectual property of Developer and may not be reproduced or imitated for any commercial purpose.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. DEVELOPER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF DATA; REGULATORY PENALTIES OR LEGAL CONSEQUENCES; PHYSICAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE; FINANCIAL LOSS FROM RELIANCE ON APP DATA; OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA. DEVELOPER'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $50.00.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Developer from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: your use of the App; your violation of these Terms or any applicable law including firearms law; any content you submit through social features; or any third-party claim arising from your possession, use, transfer, or storage of any firearm. This indemnification shall not apply to the extent any claim arises from Developer's own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Developer shall not be liable for any failure or delay resulting from causes beyond Developer's reasonable control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, government action, or changes to platform policies by Apple, Google, or GitHub.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain in full force. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Developer regarding use of the App.
For questions regarding these Terms, contact the Developer through the Arsenal GitHub repository or via the Squad feature within the App.
